ANU Netball Club is a fun and exciting way to get exercise, meet people from all walks of ANU life and to have a great time in friendly competition.

The ANU Netball Club runs three competitions:

  • Internal Ladies Competition  - played at the ANU Sport and Recreation Centre (SRA) on Tuesday nights by ANU students/staff and SRA members;

  • Internal Mixed Competition - played at the ANU Sport and Recreation Centre on Tuesday nights by ANU students/staff and SRA members;

  • External Ladies Competition - ANU teams play at the ACT Netball Centre in Lyneham on Monday Nights against wider Canberra teams.

To top it off we offer two huge social events through the year; our annual pubcrawl (the legendary net-crawl) and our annual ball (the questionably classier net-ball). You don't even have to be a member of our club to make use of our amazing social calendar! Members do however get discounted prices to all social events.

Club membership is open to all members of the SRA. All students at the ANU are automatically SRA members, and membership of the SRA is open to graduates of any university as well as ANU staff members. Contact the SRA directly for more information.

The SRA subsidise our running costs which allows us to reduce your playing fees, while still providing representative and social opportunities.

For further information about the SRA, and ANU Sports, please call the Sports Centre on 6125 2273 or 6125 4808.
